THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING THE INTERNATIONAL BIM DAY 2014!
On behalf of CIDB Malaysia, BIM Secretariat and the Organising Committee, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for attending the International BIM Day 2014 held at the Dewan Tun Hussein Onn, Putra World Trade Centre on 22 September 2014.
We would also like to thank the Deputy Minister of Works, Y. B. Datuk Rosnah Bte Abdul Rashid Shirlin to have graciously officiated the event and to the Chief Executive of CIDB Malaysia, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Ir Dr Judin Bin Abdul Karim and the Director of PROKOM, JKR, Ir. Hj Mohd Daud bin Harun to have accompanied the Deputy Minister throughout the event.
Indeed, we were lucky to have such excellent plenary speakers such as Dr. Bilal Succar (Australia), Prof. Heng Li (Hong Kong), Nick Tune (UK), CS Tan (Autodesk Malaysia) and to have Dr. John Rogers (Roamef) moderate the plenary sessions in such an engaging way. Our thanks goes out to these honored guests and speakers for sharing the knowledge and help us all to better understand BIM.
Thank you also to our program partners, the Department of Works, Malaysia, Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd, Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), Board of Architects Malaysia (BAM), Tekla S.E.A, Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Bina Initiatives Sdn Bhd, Global Virtual Design and Construction Ltd (Hong Kong), Precision Design Solutions Sdn. Bhd. and Matrix Trinity Training Centre. Without the support of these sponsors, the conference would not have been possible.
Thanks for taking the time to come, share your knowledge, and help us all shape the future through the power of BIM. Your contribution and participation certainly gave the conference a sense of enthusiasm which was inspiring. The positive feedback on the quality of the presentations and the overall organization of the event has been very reassuring. It has spurred us all on towards our commitment of promoting the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Malaysia. And finally, make sure you mark your calendars for a more exciting International BIM Day next year. Tell us what we did right, where we can do better and share your ideas for IBD 2015 improvements.
The presentation slides will be ready for download soon, so come back and visit us regularly for the update. Thank you again for being part of such a wonderful conference experience. There is nothing more powerful than when this community comes together to share ideas, stories, and hope. We are so happy to have you as part of the BIM family.
